It is common to perform a cleanse or detox at various points throughout the year, most often in the fall and spring. Parsley is a powerful cleanser as well as a potent cancer fighting superfood. For your on-the-go lifestyle, try this Irish green parsley smoothie, packed with protein and plenty of plant based nutrients.

Ingredients

  • 1 small Bunch PARSLEY, rinsed and dried
  • 1 cup Kale
  • ½ AVOCADO
  • 1 Pear
  • 1 Granny Smith APPLE
  • 1 scoop Sun Warrior vanilla protein powder or ¼ cup HEMP seeds
  • 1 Tbsp COCONUT OIL
  • 1 Tbsp CHIA SEEDS
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 cup Ice

Instructions

  1. Place all ingredients in a high powered blender or Vitamix and process until smooth.
