Luck of the Parsley Smoothie
When Eating Clean you are already consuming a detox diet because you are eating minimal, if any processed foods. It is common to perform a cleanse or detox at various points throughout the year, most often in the fall and spring. Parsley is a powerful cleanser as well as a potent cancer fighting superfood. For your on-the-go lifestyle, try this Irish green parsley smoothie, packed with protein and plenty of plant based nutrients.
Ingredients
- 1 small Bunch PARSLEY, rinsed and dried
- 1 cup Kale
- ½ AVOCADO
- 1 Pear
- 1 Granny Smith APPLE
- 1 scoop Sun Warrior vanilla protein powder or ¼ cup HEMP seeds
- 1 Tbsp COCONUT OIL
- 1 Tbsp CHIA SEEDS
- 1 cup Water
- 1 cup Ice
Instructions
- Place all ingredients in a high powered blender or Vitamix and process until smooth.
